    In the next few weeks, you will be seeing an occasional post by another writer.  I am talking with writers who I believe have something to say and can be entertaining.

    If you are a writer and would like to write for The American Writer, please send me a sample of something--short story, article--anything that shows your writing and style.  And include some topics you'd like to write about.  Send it to tom@tomeubanks.com.

    I want to stress that I will be looking for individuals who can write and entertain.  That doesn't mean you have to be funny particularly, but the writing shouldn't be pedantic or dry...or wet, for that matter.  You don't have to be a professional writer, either.  If you already write a blog or you're an editor or you've been writing for years, that's all I'm asking for.  I would just like to include other writers on this blog on occasion.  Essays, How-To, Exposes, Reviews; just look at my Categories to get some ideas.

    Topics I would love to publish:

•         Researching a Non-fiction Book
•         Marketing a Self-Published Book
•         How to Find Book Ideas
•         How to Write a Good Synopsis
•         Reviews of Books
•         Interviews with Authors (with a book out presently)

    But don't limit yourself to just these areas.  Be creative.   I will respond to you within five working days, upon receipt of your proposal.
